The same testimony we are told that when the dogs were heard barking late at night from when he came back to mess with the medicine bag. Finally, you can also see the painting of Harlan change from having a stoic/concerned look (when Marta is looking at it before her interview with Blanc) and then when the mystery is solved at the end of the movie we can see Harlan smirking/smiling. These are just some of my favorite ones that I noticed! Others include the foreshadowing of the stage prop knife from Harlan and then Ransom stabbing Marta with a stage prop knife and the family getting Marta's nationality wrong every time they mention where she is from. I believe this movie was wonderfully written and shot. I can't wait for the second one to come out.
